Festive sparkle: Christmas make-up inspiration for the holidays!

Christmas is just around the corner and so is the odd Christmas party and we're already thinking about how we can style ourselves for the festivities! We have some tips and tricks for the perfect Christmas make-up look.  

We would like to introduce you to this beautiful and festive make-up look!  

Make-up

Before applying make-up, care for the skin as usual to ensure it is sufficiently moisturized!  

Then we start the make-up with the BABOR Hydra Liquid Foundation and apply it to the skin with a brush. Then we use a little BABOR Beautifying Powder Transparent to even out the complexion.  

For a festive Christmas make-up, the BABOR Satin Duo Bronzer and the BABOR Satin Blush should not be missing to give the face a little more color and dimension. First, we recommend applying the BABOR Satin Duo Bronzer to the cheekbones to emphasize them and shape the face. Then you can apply some of the BABOR Satin Blush to the cheeks for a beautiful, healthy blush. Another must-have is the BABOR Satin Duo Highlighter! For this, we apply the BABOR Satin Duo Highlighter above the cheekbones for a healthy glow and extra glamor - perfect for Christmas. The BABOR highlighter can also be applied to the inner corner of the eye, under the eyebrow arch and on the heart of the lips. If required, the eyebrows can now also be made up a little by painting delicate eyebrow hairs between your own eyebrow hairs for thicker eyebrows. For this we use the BABOR Eye Brow Pencil in the color 02 Ash.

Extra tip: Always apply the BABOR Satin Duo Bronzer, BABOR Satin Blush and BABOR Satin Duo Highlighter in an upward direction, away from the face, to visually lift the face a little! You should not apply too far down and also not towards the bottom, as this can visually pull the face downwards.  

Eye make-up

Eye make-up rounds off a look and makes it festive!  

What should never be missing from an XMAS make-up look is of course shimmer and glitter! It's perfect for the festive season and reflects a glamorous feeling.  

The best way to start is with warm brown tones. Apply this color to the crease of the eyelid with a small brush to add depth and dimension to the eyelid. Warm brown tones also work very well in make-up for the fall and winter seasons.  

We then recommend the BABOR Eye Shadow Quattro with lots of glitter for a chic, glamorous touch. We recommend warm gold tones with shimmer and glitter, as this color is perfect for Christmas. This color can also be applied with a small brush or even with your fingers, as the glitter pigmentation becomes even more opaque with your finger. This color can be applied to the entire movable eyelid. The glitter is very easy to build up. We used the BABOR Eye Shadow Quattro for this look. You can then apply some BABOR mascara to complete the eye make-up. We used the BABOR Absolute Volume & Length Mascara for a beautiful lash curl!

Extra tip 1: First, apply some BABOR Concealer to the eyelid as a base so that the pigmentation of the BABOR eyeshadow looks even more opaque!  

Extra tip 2: For even more glamorous, dramatic eye make-up, we recommend adding a line of eyeliner with BABOR Liquid Eyeliner.

Lips

Last but not least, we apply lipstick to complete our glamourous Christmas make-up look. We opted for red lips, because what goes better with Christmas (besides gold and glitter) than the color red?  

We outlined the lips with the BABOR Lip Liner in the color 02 Red and then applied the BABOR Creamy Lipstick in the color 01 On Fire - classic and timeless.  

And tadaa, you've conjured up a beautiful and festive Christmas look so quickly! With this look, you're sure to get lots of compliments for Christmas!
